Cloud drives as local files
AgentDisk is a locally installed tool that connects cloud storage accounts and presents their files through a local file system and local control interface.
It can read and write files, keep a local cache, and let you configure indexing and agent access. You choose which accounts to connect and which features to enable.
Why Google Drive access is requested
To present your entire Google Drive as files, AgentDisk requests the Google Drive scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive. This permits listing, reading, creating, updating, moving, and deleting Drive files when you use the corresponding features. Authorization happens in your browser; the application uses the resulting credentials on your device.
Google Drive connections use an OAuth client configured by the person operating AgentDisk. The name and operator shown on the Google consent screen must accurately match that OAuth client.
